find

Beekman Street art district in Saratoga Springs, NY. Common Thread is there, a yarn shop which I stupidly forgot to photograph. (I'll be back there for sure, and soon.)  Tall Son and I went up there a couple of weeks ago to deliver yarn, have lunch, and look around.  He was being very patient.

This is my find.

Never have I seen a greater variety of hand woven cloth in one place.

Who wants to go on a field trip with me?

  2. I DO! I DO! Do I have to be a weaver? My great-grandmother was. Does that count?

  4. That is very cool. Are those ties I see??? I love them! Too bad no one I know wears a tie anymore! I think Gretchen and I will be going up to see Saratoga Shakespeare in July. We'll have to leave early enough to explore!
