Tomorrow is a big day.
Tomorrow I get to be part of a blog tour which Holla Knits is hosting this month.
How, you may ask, did I get to be part of a blog tour?
Well, it kinda went like this.
Last October, I was at the Vermont Sheep and Woolfest and met a lovely young knitter and designer, Becky Herrick. We talked yarn and knitting and patterns and before she left, I gave her some of my Sock Dream yarn.
She published Gifford Woods.
Then she went on and designed Lime Sorbet and Jubjub Bird, using Periwinkle Sheep merino sport.
The mitts, the cardi, and the socks will be on display in my booth this weekend, at the Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival. Along with the yarn to knit them, of course. ;) I will also have hard copies of the patterns there.
All the while, there was a bit of tweeting going on amongst the knitters and designers, and Becky let me know about Holla Knits. and Allyson Dykhuizen, who was looking for yarn support for two designs coming out this fall.
Long story short,
you will have to read the rest tomorrow.
